Default 1995 Honda Prelude Paint Job

Hey guys,
I own a honda prelude that was recently in an accident. After first replacing the panel over the wheel well. I believe I'd like to repaint the entire car. I dont think ill be able to match the rest of the paint accurately on the car cuz the difference in paint age. Well about how much would a total paint job cost? It doesn't ahve to be beautiful but I'd like to achieve somewhat of a shine, and I'd like it to last. How should I go about doing this? Appreciate the help. thanks.

you get what you pay for when it comes to paint/clearcoat. If you cheap out on clear, it will peel in a couple years. Talk to your body shop for an estimate on cost. Most body shops give free estimates. price varies greatly from location to location.

I don't even wanna know how muuch money I'll have in mine after it's painted painted. A good bit of that comes from cutting out a 4"x8" panel from both rear wheel wells and have a new piece made and welded in. Plus stripping the car to the metal...anywhere from a 1/4" to an 1 1/2" of bondo in some places. It really wasn't in that bad of shape after it was stripped down either. I'd say talk to some friends and family and see if they know anyone that does paint and body on the side. That's how I found the guy doing my car.
