Default crossmember / rear subframe connecter

would it be o.k. to remove my subfrmae conncter. the bar that goes form the front subframe to the rear subframe? its in the way of my dumptube and it would be so much easier if i removed it. by the way this is on a 400whp car if that matters.

It's a big piece of steel that's there to add structural integrity, I'd imagine it's a good thing to have it there.

if you can keep it then yes i would but if you cant i dont think its going to matter, because like i said everyone running a traction bar or a camp1320 header cant run that and i havent heard any problems or experenced any myself however that doesnt mean everything will be a ok.

yeah i was thinking the same thing about traction bars not having them, and how it would be better to keep them. anyone else not running it, w/o problems.

I have had my traction bar setup for a year or two now without that crossbar and I have not noticed any changes.

If you think about it the bar literally goes from the rear engine mount up to the front engine mount...might have something to do with the design of the bar, but who knows. I don't have a front mount either
