Default obd1 b16 problems

Before i go into detail im going to explain the past couple weeks. Ive had a bad miss in my car, i ended up replacing coil, cap, button, and plugs (wires good). Then after i put all that in my fuel pump goes out so i replace it. Even after all that i still have a miss. She would bog down and stutter in vtec until i would go through a couple gears. Oil and filter has been replaced, still stutters. Come to find out my o2 sensor wires got snagged on something and well..broke. We just recently fixed this problem. Car holds a stable idle now, but here comes my 2 problems.
1. VTEC doesnt engage. Yes i have check my connections and vtec solenoid screen for any kind of slug etc.
2. Car stutters really bad when going from a stop to go. Its acting as if its not getting enough gas, and my fuel gauge doesnt work so i cant read how much fuel im getting....but anyways, once it reaches a certain rpm range its fine. Doesnt act up going down the road or anything.

does anyone have any idea what is going on here???? any kind of input to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. i need my car in time for import alliance....

did you reset the ECU after fixing the O2 sensor? do you have any codes in the ECU?
