I made that one, and won't be making anymore D to B swap kits. It was very expensive to make about would probably retail over $2000, maybe even more if I built it the way the one I sold to Rota was done.

Sorry!

Like Marc said above, over $2000.00. By the time rota's was finished and installed the right way, new wheel bearings, good brake set up. DSS stage 5 axles, Quaife LSD in the rebuilt tranny. Intermediate shaft, Marc's twin disc clutch set up. mounts, I even had custom lower mounts made to keep the powertrain from moving.

You even have to cut up your B series tranny to make it fit. It was fun to install after a couple of phone calls to Marc. It is an impressive piece of engineering and the whole set up worked great, in 35 passes Ryan never had any shifting problems.

All that was around $5000.00 if not over, that was 3 years ago.

I had the same questions and problems with my dseries setup. I finally convinced a company that I have an account setup with now to make me a twin disc sohc set for me and had gearspeed out of cali make me a nice little tranny set up that has been holding together just fine. I am putting out 502whp and 371 torque and have been doing good so far. I am in the process of putting a new gt3040r on my car to help with spool issues i had and make more power. Hope this helps. Let me know if your intersted in details on the twin disc setup.

hey I already talked to bisi about this and he doesn't want to krank this out. But as far as my tranny goes it is holding up just fine so far and it is fixing to get back on the dyno and we are looking at maxing it out at around 575-600hp. I'll post up the new numbers when we get finished to show you.

BTW: stunn'd nice link for you tranny plate. good job

If you're talking about the MFactory D gear set, it would not be good for a turbo setup IMO. MAYBE if you use a 3.722 final.

With a 4.25 final on a stock'ish Z6 (stock with SMSP big tube 4-1 header) I was about to tap the limiter in 4th (1.259) crossing the line at Bristol. And that was with my wonderfully **** poor launches (2.4/2.3's on Azenis). Decent turbo power I think you would have traction problems.
