Default Need advice.

So, I found a 2000 ITR for sale for only $4K.

2000 Acura Integra Type-R
23,900 miles
Vehicle title: Clear
Transmission: Manual
Fuel type: Gasoline
Body type: Coupe

VIN: JH4DC2318YS004790

Is this to good to be true? How do I find out of its a scam or fake? You got any idea's?

I never said I was going for it. As a previous ITR owner I'm aware of how much they cost.

This is what he says...

Hello,
The car is still available. It has no scratches or any kind of damage. The car is located in Salt Lake City, UTAH.Price is 4,000$,shipping included, and all the documents will be provided along with it.The transaction will be made through a third company for the safety of both of us ,so as we can be sure of the legitimacy of our deal. I'm a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer. That's why if you want me to answer further questions, please provide me your FULL NAME ,ADDRESS. Anyway, I have to let you know that I want a fast deal because I need the money asap and that is also the reason why I am selling it at a lower price... so if you are really interested in buying it, please reply.

There are scams like this all over Craigslist. I saw a TSX for sale for $5,000. They all have the same line "transaction through a 3rd party".

Tell the guy you will fly in with cash to buy the car, I bet you will never hear from him again.

Tell him you have a friend in SLC who would like to check it out in person.

He'll give you the lamest excuse you've ever heard, why he can't let them do that.
