Default wiring questions: LS swap into 96 civic EX

I'm saving up for an LS changover for my 96 civic EX coupe. It has a manual transmission in it. I've helped swap motors before, and know how to get them to physically fit in civics. I will have no problem fitting an LS motor and tranny into my civic, but I'm not that experienced with the wiring. If i get the engine harness from the LS, the ECU, and all the stuff to physically fit it in my civic, how do I wire it up? If I remember correctly my civic engine harness goes into firewall and plugs straight into the ECU on the passenger side, and has a plug or 2 on the drivers side behind the strut tower. Will the Integra LS wiring harness simplly plug into the ECU and the plugs by the driver side like the civic harness? Do you guys have any good links to sites that would explain this in detail? I want to get it wired up with no codes and running great. I plan on doing everything myself. I plan on buying my swap from http://www.hondamotorsonline.com , or http://www.importautosalvage.com , unless I can get a whole swap from one of my local salvage yards. Integras are rare in my local salvage yards though, and they go fast when they arrive. I have about 1k saved up, and will be getting this motor in a few months.

thanks for any help, I want to learn as much as I can,

Mike Miguez

this might help. you'll need to use your civic harness on the integra motor.

so I will use my civic wiring harness, and change any plugs to fit onto the integra motor?

does anyone know if I have to add any wires to put an LS motor in my civic EX? I'd think my current motor would have more sensors due to the fact it has VTEC.

If I buy a helms for my car, and the car that I get the motor from, I'll be able to find out if I have to change any wires out. I think I should buy a new wiring harness for my honda, that way I can return back to factory whenever I want, and so I can wire the Integra motor up when it's outside the car. Then I would simply need to do the physical swap, after having wired everything up on the LS motor.

thanks for any help, any other advice on doing my first LS swap all by myself?
