Hello.

I put my wings west door caps on my CRX about 3 months ago. I have not noticed that the double sided tape is not holding to well. I want to screw them in.

My questions is, where do I put the screws? I took off the interior door panel. but I can't seem to find any spots to screw into the door caps. Can anybody help me?

I wouldn't screw them in if I were you. Freak chance if you ever take the kit off, you'll have holes there. But, if you absolutely must, it should be fairly obvious with the window up, door panel off. Just pre-drill thru' the metal, stick screws thru' and tighten. Make sure you don't go thru' the caps themselves.

I had the exact same problem as you- what I did, is I went by the local auto parts store, and got some 3M Plastic and Trim Adhesive. I pulled off the caps, cleaned 'em, cleaned the door, put on gobs and gobs of the stuff, stuck it on there.

It's never coming off.

 

Hmmmm, that sounds like a good idea. I was not partial at all about screwing them in. I might just have to take them off.
