Do I need to use these rear engine mounts.
Are you serious?
First of all, you will either have #9 or #10 not both. That diagram shows parts for auto and manual trans.
YES you need it!

The same place you removed it from.
Its pretty self explanatory really. Go look at your car. You'll see 3 threaded holes on the trans/block and one though the rear mount. Connect the dots...

without that u will break the other mounts and motor will eventually sag and fall. and u will strip out any good mount bolt holes. u need that on. and best to use the front one too if u can.
Well the engine is bolted to the #5 mount but I had the engine out for a while and cant remember where #9 went.
I mean the engine is in and it seems its ok but i dont want to start driving it and something go wrong!

how does the #5 mount bolt to the motor w/o the use of the #9 bracket? if this is the mount/bracket that im thinking of, #9 bolts to the motor and the bolts through the #5 mount
OK like I stated the engine is bolted to the #5 mount. Isnt #9 a stabilizer. Ive searched quite a bit and can't figure out how it mounts. I've been at work all day and was just wondering if anyone could post a picture. Its been a while since I took the engine out so my memory doesnt recall how it was mounted. The diagram is not very helpful.
