Default ITR steering wheel black/black???

Is it even from a Type-R? Basically the same as the one with red stitching, only it has black stitching and a blach horn button with silver H on it.

What model did this type of steering wheel come on?

Can you get a pic? It sounds like it might be the Honda Access wheel.

It came on my car when I bought it off my buddy but I'm thinking about selling it to get a momo tuner or personal wheel with quick release.

Pic will be up by lunch time.

EDIT: Here are the pictures I just took. Sorry for the quality (cellphone)

doesn't look like it's itr - but definitely jdm; probably from a non-itr, non-airbag integra.

That was an optional steering wheel for non-SRS DC2 cars (and others), either through the dealer or Honda Access. In the UKDM, it was available to order pre-delivery.

It was not an OEM option for the DC2 ITR, you're right, because their wheels would have a red H and red stitching.

My favourite wheel is the Momo Honda Access wheel that I still have in my own track car. :-)

There is a seldom encountered version of this Honda Access wheel that was intended for the DC2 ITR. It's the same wheel but with a red H and red stitching. Since nobody ever ordered it, you will still find it on the shelves in Germany, France and UK/Eire.

It's a great wheel, but you'd have to expect to pay about $600 for it, all said and done, because everybody's caught on to the fact that it is desirable even thought it's still on the shelves all over Europe and the UK.

Thanks for the info. JDM Honda Access it is then. I like your steering wheel too as well as the Fastline Performance shifter.

The interior doesn't look anything like that, now. Mostly stripped, full cage, and K motor raised shifter box at the console.

Do you have any pictures of the car in it's current state?

Do you race in a series or just do track/lap days?

Honda Access accesccories are not available to North America. For example, I don't think the 92-95 Civics in America could even get window visors. If you look up the part number, it wouldn't register at any of the US dealers. They're just not available. Just like the green HAMP (Honda AfterMarket Parts) oil filters

That statement is true for Hondas that where built prior to 2006. Starting in 06 we started getting Access parts at the dealerships. My eyes where as big as saucers the first day I saw an Access box. All the Techs couldnt figure out why I so happy about a cardboard box.

^ Ya, that makes sense because I just got my dc2 window visors the other day and they came in Honda Access boxes. I was wondering if they were actually manufactured by Honda.
