I was just wondering what causes the ECU to throw a knock sensor code, not looking to bypass it just want to know why it would throw the code. This morning driving into work a brought the car up to like 4500 and it threw a check engine light. By the way its a 90 crx with a B16A swap, its has complete valvtrain done and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust. I searched and sorry but im not going through 900+ threads.

 

its probably a bad knock sensor
