Rims + Tire Combo ?
Stock height 05' for now, may in the future drop it 1/2" or an 1"
Nothing crazy, as the roads here aren't the best @ times.
FRONT
17x7.5 +45
225/45/17
REAR
17x8.5R +48
255/40/17
Prolly gonna grab some azenis once I know these are ok sizes to get. I am more concerned about the front jumping from the 215 that is on there now. I already have 255's in the back.
Any feedback would help.
Thanks in advance.

That would help wouldn't it?
Curious if anyone has had any rubbing issues on a stock height or 1" dropped 05 S2K with 225/45/17's in the front?
Thanks.

with only a 1" drop, youll be fine
i have 17x8 17x9 +40, 235/45-17 fronts (they sent me the wrong size) and 255/40-17 rears. i have about 1/2 of a finger gap between the top of the tire and the wheelwell. im running 1.5 degrees up front and 3.3 degrees in the rear. the fronts rub sometimes if i hit a decent sized bump or if i pull into a steep-grade with the wheel cut. the rears hit the bumper bolt on hard bumps as well...neither really bother me at the moment though

Yep, why buy cheap lightweight wheels when you can buy JDM boutique tuner wheels that do the same thing but are 4x as expensive. And then once you get your CE28N's or TE37's, get Kumho minivan tires for maximum drifting.
Real. True. Tuning.

That is sorta how I felt. I wasn't willing to spend 3k on a wheel/tire combo when I am pushing for 500whp this winter.
After coming from my Si (450whp) and going to this the car feels slooow.
I need to get back in the game, and spending loads of $$ on wheels isn't helping my cause.
The slips are actually the ones w/the red lip around the outside.
I haven't seen them on any s2k's yet. Hopefuilly it will turn out ok.

but you will rub an inch lowered... youll need to roll your fenders and run some neg camber... most likely around -2.5 in the rear
