when to tune

im just wondering when is it necessary to tune your motor? im putting a stock b18c1 with b16a head into my ef. is tuning necessary for me?

You can tune it if you want! Are you going to be putting more bolt on performance parts or any internal work? What do you want to use for tuning?

for now no internal work, and a full exhaust thats 2.25. im just new to tuning and ive been hearing a lot of talk about it. what can i tune with,? hondata?
