Heres what the real ones look like for comparo.

I wish the pic was better. Those look very suspicious to me. Especially if the price is cheap, don't get em. When new one's sell for almost $200 a set now, why would anybody sell the real thing for less when they are impossible to get from any other source in this country than an authorized Mugen dealer and there is only 1 of those.

I have been flicking back & forth between ebay and King's pictures since afterwork.
eBay seller's feedback had shown that they have sold a lot of quantity in almost 1/2 price from King's which I got suspicious & 2 were negative of being fake.

Ask them to take a pic of the back of the package and the hardware bag that comes with them. That should determine if they are real or not.

That's about what I paid for those pedals about 7 or 8 years ago. I got them from Leo when he lived in Illinois. Can't remember what his screen name is.
From my memory, everything shown in those pics, looked exactly like what I remember receiving... even the foam that surrounds the clutch and brake pedal (the insert trim foam). The directions are not in english either.
I would say those ones are real. Good pics too!

Just from looking at the pics they appear to be legit.
The packaging, pedals and instructions are the same as the one's I won at Expo a few years ago.

This picture really makes me doubt their authenticity. I've never seen the center mesh portion "overhang" the frame of the pedal like that...
I would never buy those overpriced pedals again. Mine (Which are real ones)friggin fell apart over time. They are definitely only made for a garage queen or rarely driven car. I had the friction material on one of mine break in half

??
I've had NO issues with mine, and they've easily got over 100,000 miles of all-season abuse on them.

Thanks for all the pro & cons.
ebay seller offered now at $105.00 plus shipping, so buy or skip?
Not desperate, just bored.

I've seen something similar to what Larkin experienced with those pedals. Not many, but a few people I knew had some goofiness with that mesh material. who knows how they were treated, of course.. but its not hard to imagine having an issue with something like that.
I'd do just what Todd00 mentioned.... that is going to be the best way to know for sure.

If you are thinking to look at the spellings of "gunuine" or "genuine" on the back then that is incorrect. It has been proven that Mugen DID indeed send over a mispelled batch with that spelling flaw. That being said, you can pretty much assume "gunuine" is fake.
Where the drilled holes are at on the pedals and texture of the logo print is what I am looking for authenticity.
