Default which coilover without noises

i have heard k-sport makes noise while driving onto slight bumps and dips. I'm looking for something around $500-800 without noises. If anyone who experience bad and good coilovers, list it down for my best option. thanks

You've been on this forum long enough to know that any coilover in the $500-$800 range is going to be junk.

Moderate lowering springs and good shocks is a much better option.

Any kind of stiff suspension will make make any road noise greater, especially if any of the perches come loose.

I'm rolling on ksports. Haven't had a prob with them. The fronts are slammed all the down except for a pinky gap of tread left. What kind of noise are you talking about? I've got mines set at 10 clicks up front and 15 in the backs. It's going to ride rough. If you slam it. It's like that with all full coilvers. You need to set it up to your liking. I don't care how expensive you go on coilovers. it's going to ride like **** slammed. There has to be a give and take on coilovers in my opinion.

I had Function and Forms on my car and they rode pretty good, but now switching over to RSD's for the track.

Though I heard Teins tend to "pop" alot

I like em.
Pros -
price, full adjustable coilovers with pillow ball mounts up front with camber adjustment

Cons -
new product
studs are too short( can't install after market tower brace )

The noise is probably for [freak] up michgan roads and tires. I haven't notice it since I moved to AZ. You can take it for a spin if you like and see how you like them. I'm shooting back out there for Labor day weekend. Get a hold of my bro -n-law Chong and he will get a hold of me. I agree on the saying you get what you paid for. That's not true for everything. Depends on what kind of driving you will be doing. Also you have to tune your suspension. You can't expect to install coilovers and expect everything to be nice and smooth. Alot of things come into play. Anyway that is my opinion on ksport coilovers. hope this helps.

QFT.

I'm replacing my D2's because of a rear clinking sound when driving at city speeds. I love their feel, and the drop, but that sound is driving me crazy. Any coilover that isn't a full dual perch system is going to have that problem unless it is riding with a very little drop, and at that point, why get coils?

i see. well guess i'm gon' have to save just a bit more just to go full coilovers for a better ride and drop without those annoying noise. I just don't want to be on the other hand of "regret." I did some research of tein ss full coilover, they are pretty pricey so i assume they aren't shitty. whats your opinion on these guys? thanks for the help and advice btw.

B-G isn't a very well known brand. Some might say it is because they are crappy but I like them so far. Had them for almost a year now. They are a swiss company that makes factory springs for some European vehicles I believe. Fairly priced too. They go under some other swiss name that starts with an "L" also.

All coilovers will make noises or clucking sound in your car. Its depends how well you install your coilovers or tighten the pre-load. Other noises will continue if your car is stiff.

100% truth on these cars. Either the poly bushings will make noise, or the front tophats, or the camber kit, etc. Somewhere, there will be a noise, guaranted. Just too much metal on metal and poly bushings.
