What rear LCA's do I use in 5g EX coupe to run a swaybar?
Ok... so I'm under my car installing my exhaust today and I was looking at my LCA's and I noticed that they don't have any mounts for swaybar endlinks on them. My car is a 95 EX Coupe... I thought I heard somewhere that the EX and Si 5th generation civics had the endlink mounts on the LCA's... but maybe I was misinformed.
If that's the case, what LCA's do I need to use if I want to go with some kind of swaybar setup in the rear (not sure what one yet)? Ideally, I'd like to still be able to use the Bilsteins I already have on their, so I need something that's a direct swap... did the 5g Si's have the LCA with the endlink mount? Are DC (94 to ??) integra LCA's swappable, and which models actually have the endlink mounts?

two choices
94-up teg - ALL models have the rear bar
92-95 civic 4DR EX also have the rear bar
either of these will work and are the same part number
ITR rear bar bolts on to these also ......... can you say 22mm

So, any 94 and up teg LCA's will fit on my coupe, and I'll still be able to use the same shocks? I'm going to assume that's also true for the 4 door EX LCA's. ITR sway... ooh, sounds goood
Guess I gotta do some junk-yard shopping.

yep , same shocks and hardware
just get the endlinks with the control arms , they work just fine with the ITR rear bar
make sure you reinforce your subframe though

Sounds good.
What's involved in re-inforcing the subframe though? We have a mig welder and both my brother and dad are pretty good with it and I can borrow them for a few hours... so that won't be a problem. I'm just wondering what needs to be done... weld a plate in there somewhere?
Know of any place I could look at a pic of the reinforcing someone's done?
Or, should I just get the Beaks kit and be done with it?

You can use a Beaks Kit. No need for welding...

u can just the ST kit and not worry about it..the swaybar ends have brackets that attach to the strut bolts..rather then on the middle off the lca
what kind of muffler is that?
I'm going the same route... trying to put a GSR sway bar to my EH2.
But I'd wasted three afternoon just for the damed bolts in the old LCA with no luck. Got one rounded and one head off. Wasted half can of penetrant lube; also tried butane, and 2' long breaker bar. (The rental shops all told me impact wrench is no better than brute force.
)
Any suggestions before I dump my hard-earned money to get a "pro shop" to get rid of those bolts.
PS: those replacement bolts from the dealer are so expensive!!!

If you use the ITR LCA, you CAN NOT use that shocks that you know now. You will have to use the ITR shocks.
ITR rear lower control arms you CANT use w/ eg shocks
ITR rear SWAY BAR you can , thats what I was talking about
the BAR , not the ARMS
I think even the Si sohc dellys had a rear bar
That's a negative there Doc.

EDIT: I had a thought and just double checked...the '96-'97 Si models got the suspension of the VTECs, so they would have a rear bar. But the '93-'95s got the shaft.
