Type R stock rear shock bushings. Same as Apex'i bushing?
I have a set of Apex'i N1 '99 spec full coilovers. Now they have seen some km's and the rear shock bushings are worn out. I'm talking about the bushing on the rear shocks "eyeball" that connects to the rear LCA
now my question is are the stock ITR shock bushings the same as the Apex'i bushings? The Apex'i bushings seem so much smaller for some reason.
#10 in pic is what i'm talking about:

I will post up pictures tomorrow of what i'm talking about along with one other question.
also apex'i call center service is almost a waste of time. half hour on the phone waiting sucks. so i hung up and now trying H-T

I have the EXACT same issue. I bought mine used years ago and never was able to install them due to a stripped bushing. I called Apexi and spoke with them several times and i was never able to get a straight answer so theyve been sittin in my basement waiting.
A local speed shop recommended just taking dimensions and then trying to go through Energy Suspensions or a similar company.
Hope for a resolvement of this issue.

oh jeez...so these coilovers are basically now an over priced paper weight. great
so i guess the $1600 price tag brand new was just for the name
if the new itr bushings aren't to much i'll buy them and see if somehow they could be worked to fit? i'm at a loss right now

Mugen sells shock bushings brand new still. They are a little sitffer than stock but not by much and they are the exact size that you need. 100%.
really? if so ur a life saver. any idea if stock sizes from honda would work aswell? i'm gonna check out mugen right now
ok so far searching the internet i have come up with nothing. i haven't found any website selling these bushings. i tried mugen's website but the english version is under construction. i have the worst luck of all time
"get RIGHT" do you have any idea where to find these mugen bushings ur talking about?
oh and i searched everyone from kingmotorsprots.com to passwordjdm and searched through ALL the mugen bushings they listed. none even listed for the stock ITR shock "eyeball" bushing

Mugen bushings are available through King Motorsports, who are Mugen's sole US distributors.
Also, the OEM ITR part for that particular bushing is exactly the same dimensionally as the Mugen, although the rubber durometer on the OEM piece may be nominally lower. Both are simply an interference fit standard bushing.
