Though it may seem I am not a noob. Im from Canada and often use HT. Im simply asking for a quick breifing of different civic option pakages from the United States. What I currently understand, or so I beleive, is vx is hatch hx is coupe ex is vtec model but proper explaining would be great. It will really help my understanding of many HT threads. Thank you in advance.

 

You could try clubcivic.com and they might explain it more in depth there on their little information sections

Basically;

DX is base model, manual windows, manual door locks
LX is power everything, cruise control, same motor as DX
EX is everything LX has plus sun roof, VTEC motor, ABS (in most cases)
HX/CX/VX/HF is a more economical model, not sure of power/manual doors and windows, but they each come with their own particular engine.

88-91:
Hatches: STD(standard)/Si/DX
CRXs: HF/Si/DX
Sedans: EX/LX/DX
Wagovans I'm not really sure of
92-95:
Hatches: VX/CX/Si/DX
Coupes: EX and DX
Sedans: EX/LX/DX
96-00:
Hatches: CX/DX
Coupes: EX/DX/Si only from 99-00
Sedans: EX/LX/DX
01-05:
Hatches: Si only
Coupes: LX/EX (maybe DX?)
Sedans: EX/LX/DX

06-Present I'm really not that sure of
