i just bought a honda fit the other day and i had an HID kit for my 96 civic before. it is an h4 bulb. worked great on the civic. i plug it in my fit and get nothing. and i tried my sisters 2003 civic and nothing. no light. i am guessing that the h4 factory plug is wired different. please help i also connected the ballast up to direct power source and worked great

 

You probably need the ballast to run those lights properly.
