Default CTR b16b head on a b18b block... question.

hey, i know many of you came in here to say "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!" but i did, and none of them pertain to my specific question and situation.

i currently have a ek hatch with a b16b in it. i really want to go turbo, but, i want to stay 100% reliable.

sooo, i know that people use the b18b for turbo because its a 1.8lt, and its low compression. i think.

my currnet car, is my only car, so i need it to drive.

what i want to do is get a b18b block, and build it. sleeves, pistons, connecting rods, ect. while still running my current set-up.

so my question is... should i put my CTR head (b16b) on a b18b block for a daily driven turbo car. (i got teh turbo fever...lol)

im kinda tired right now so ill add to this question later on. thanks for all your help, im newb to turbo. if you have any threads you want to point me towards, feel free to help me out! thanks!

you can, it will just need to have an LSVTEC oil line kit... try searching for LSVTEC, prolly get more info because thats basically what you want to do, and people usually use the B16A head..
