B16b pistons on a poormans type r? and otr questions
alright guys im starting my build and i have a gsr block pretty stock it just has b16b ctr pistons. The head is off a 2000 si and its built heres what it has new JG valave springs and titanium retainers, supertech flat face valves with black nitride coating and 3 angle valve job and new seals, and skunk2 stage 2 cams with vision cam gears. Should i get rid of the ctr's if so what should i get. Also will this set up be good as a DD. let me know thanks
and yes i have researched and all i heard was that compression would be to high for a DD, piston and valve clearance might not be ok, and if i do pull this off i will hae to get properly tuned and run on high octane gas. but just want to be sure before i get rid of the ctr pistons and regret it thanks again guys.
