89 honda civic si d16a6 hesitant when pressing gas & code 10 and 14?
I have a slight hesitant problem when I am going steady on the steady throttle it hesitates mostly while on the throttle.
for the codes I am getting 10 and 14. I checked the sensor and its giving 5 volts just like the manual says I tired a new sensor, new ecu, and distributor.
still same problem.. any ideas wtf is causing this just started happening few days ago.. check spark plugs all look good..

Well 10 is your IAT(intake air temperature sensor) and 14 is your IAC( idle air control valve).
Now you can buy a new idle air control valve here
http://www.partsamerica.com/Pr...Set=A
But as you can see its 200 bucks. May want to find a used one there.
Next your air temperature sensor you can find here
http://www.partsamerica.com/Pr...50091
As you can see its 50 dollars. You may want to find this part used also. I hope this helps.
OBTW I looked these parts up using the motor code you gave me d16a6. Good luck.

Hmm, Idk then. You might need to unplug your battery for acouple mins or so to reset the ecu. Have you tried that yet?

I think its the injectors still have a little hesistant when starting in first gear. I tired some hf injectors and those didn't work...
i would A)get some injector cleaner or run high octance gas
B)clean out your iacv and make sures the hoses are all tight and hooked up(you could have a little vacuumm leak?) just my 2 cents goodluck
