BudMan's Integra Type R (SCCA - ITR) for sale on eBay
SOLD 7/31/08
Well guys - nearly 10 years... It's been a great run, but now that I've skipped a season, I realize there are a bunch of things I'd like to do that don't mesh with having a race car.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

It's live on eBay as of a few minutes ago.
Hmmm - I guess I'll need to change my signature too ;-)

She was a hard driver from Expo 2 to Expo 7...
Built for 2...many ride alongs have occurred in her belly!
Somebody here should take this from me so it can get back to what she was built for!

I don't want to be Mr Negative, but I really don't think that you should sell it.
I am speaking from experience. I am married with three kids and my family always comes first. I have spent countless weekends at the soccer fields, birthday parties, working homework projects, etc. This leaves me very little time to get on track (Andy reminds me of this all the time).
My ITR is does not have a plate, is not registered, just lives inside the trailer all of the time. I wish I could drive it on the street sometimes. To some, it would be a waste that an ITR is never driven on the street and only sees the track a couple of times a year. With my family and work schedule, I am limited in the track time I can get.
I have thought about selling my ITR several times before (I even did it once!). I keep my ITR because it is something that I enjoy doing. If we came under financial hard times the ITR would be one of those things to go but we have been very fortunate so far.
If you are not in a financial struggle right now, do not sell it. You will regret it. You need to keep a hobby that is just for you. My ITR is just for me, but my son loves working on it with me and the few times he tags along on track weekends. Even though you will rarely get to the track, you will just enjoy the track time that much more.
Good luck.

To all potential buyers out there. If you love the original Realtime Racing ITR, you gotta love the racing history behind this caR. Step up and own one of the most amazing caR Honda EVER built. GL
I'm gonna go sit in the corner and look like this until you change your mind.

If that doesn't work, I will be holding my breath next. So don't tempt me.

Jeff... you'll be missed, and i know you'll miss the car. Enough that you'll be back? Probably.

i'm going to be out of town starting this friday, but i'll leave it to the rest of the guys to reconvince you to keep it! let's do lunch this week!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Sure thing. It's kind of silly we don't have lunch more...since we are only 30 seconds apart. :hammer
I REALLY hope that someone here or from ITRCA buys the car so it can go to the Expos & really stay in the clan that is the ITR community.
I've had an interesting life that has allowed me to drive porsches, ferraris, & lots of other kinds of cars that most people dream of. That said, this car is definately the most fun I've ever had. It's just time to play with something different. I'd really like to learn how to drive a RWD of some sort. It might not be what everyone expects as a track car, but hey - sometimes it's fun being different.
Would you believe my wife is trying to talk me OUT of buying a mercedes 500 sl & INTO a corvette convertible - what is she thinking - ha!

Yea, but it would keep me from turning it into a track *****. A vette would be screaming at me every day "track, track, track" which is what I've got in my hands right now & don't have the time.
500sl = pimp daddy
vette = I need a ***** replacement

Mercs are for women and old men. At least the Vette is about a million pounds lighter than the SL, but yeah, driving one in public would be like having to drive the Viagra-sponsored stock car.
