Accord Check Engine Light
Hey whats up thecheck engine light im my brother's 00 V6 accord turned on...can yall tell me how to see what codes its going to flash...i dont know where the ecu is located on his car...yall know where the plug that i have to stick a pin in to see what code it flashes?...let me know...thanks
i see....i talked to my brother and he said he just had to change the oil...but he changed it and i still see the check engine light....is there a somewhere you have to stick the key to turn off the light...let me know thanks
just push down on the **** on the right on your cluster, hold it down and turn on your car to start 2, wait till the lights go off, and then turn on your car, the maintenaince light should go off now.
OK, here goes... changed plugs, cap, rotor... all of a sudden car starts loping after it warms up, checked cyls, all fireing, timing is good, can hear vacuum solenoid clicking on and off in the black box (pass side fire wall) with the surge, throttle is moving and seems to be causing the surge, moving the throttle lower than what it should. after doing this for a little while, surge stops but car runs rough, then when cooling fans come on and off when the idle drops back down it starts surging again, and then the whole thing starts again. it was suggested to me that it could be either the MAP sensor or the throttle positioning sensor, but all I have is a haynes manual and it doesn't cover either of these parts. I am at my wits end... Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
