Default Pager Alarms

Just wondering what your guys' opinions are on some pager alarms. I looked at the Aladdin alarm and it sounded great, but then i heard some people say it was horrible. Basically I'm looking for something inexpensive but effective. Thanks.

I don't think you can get an alarm with a pager or less than maybe 400? New. Cheap but effective would be things like hood-lock, RS door handles... basically little things and layers are key. It won't prevent theft, but it will slow them down.

Edit: Someone in the other alarm thread said that they got one for 170. :shrugs:

I'll get you one for $400... I install em... compustar 2WFM pager alarm/starter combo... can be SAFELY installed on manuals...and its got many features.. ive seen many many models, this seems the best, I have a friend that installs the aladdin stuff, its not bad but the 2WFM is so much better.. indiglo and crap for movie theaters and whatnot.. lots and lots of little things add up

look into compustar http://www.compustar.org .. their not exactly cheap but I'd rather pay a bit more for something good and effective.. than pay a price for something thats a piece of crap like the alladin... you can also go on ebay and see if you can find anyone selling an Alpine 8081... if you know how to do the install yourself the price shouldn't be that bad.. but if your having a shop do it.. not sure if thats in your budget.. make sure u get a good install..
