I was just wondering what kind of car alarms you guys have. My friend is hooking me up with one and he can either get me the Clifford Matrix 3 or the Avital 3300. Does anyone know which of the 2 is better?

ive installed cliffords before and to me they were kind of crappy..people have a lot of problems with brains going bad and to program most of them u need a labtop..

 

Buy a Viper IMO!!
But if your choice is the clifford or avital go with the avital.

But just so you know clifford and avital are the same company.

They are both owned by Directed Electronics, which Viper is also made by.

which one would you guys prefer??
if Viper...what's the best out there now Viper 550?

 

I use an oldie Avital Phoenix II (still made by Clifford) and no complaints about it over a year. It works grate with my ITR.

 

The Viper 550 is a Starter Alarm Combo
The Viper 500 is just an Alarm.
