That's funny, because lately I've been looking at my steering wheel and mines been wearing away at 9 o'clock.

I actually don't mind it at all, I think it gives the car personality and shows it's actually been driven. I have no experience with the covers you speak of, so I can't give much advice on that.

You still under warranty? If so than just cut the seam along it and go in and tell me ur steering wheel is coming apart...

What type of "wear" are you having on your leather. Is it just shiny and foul looking or is there a hole developing. I treat my wheel with a leather cleaner and moisturizer and it looks like as new as when I bought it.

its a "wear and tear" item. it wont be warranty related for flaking. its an 06, not an 08.
if it is ripped, theyre going to want to know how it happened. how does a steering wheel rip under warranty conditions? it has to be ripped by "someone or something" it doesnt just happen.
not to mention how expensive a steering wheel is to replace. the dealer will hide under a rock on this one. i guess well just wait and see if he takes it to a dealer.......

man u guys should come to my dealership. we give everything away.

i know i did an airbag in a 06 crv under warranty cause the fat [freak] rested his hand on the top of the steering wheel when he drove.
countless door seals cause people slide into their seats and rip them to shreds
guy next to me did a "goodwill" from american honda start clutch in a 98 civic hx with 168,000 miles
pilot rear center vents that get kicked in by kids in car seats

So the steering wheel in an Si is full leather right, not just a leather cover. Cause I know a leather cover is available as an accessory for base model civics, but I don't want a cover, I want an actual leather steering wheel, plus the steering wheel audio controls.
