Do you suggest energy suspension bushings?
Im getting my coilovers put on soon.
I need to know if they are worth the money and if there is a permenant way to prevent them from sqeeking. If they are going to sqeek and the only way to lube them up is to tare the car apart... im not for it.
can someone give me some insight on these things?
thanks

i think they suck. nothing but problems. the worst being that they cause a lot of suspension rise by not being the same design engineering as the stock ones. they rotate freely where as the stock ones flex what rubber they have in them.
Your crazy. i love my es motor mount inserts and shifter bushings. I am going to get al lnew ones for my complete car. I heard you have to regrease them like ever 3 months or so, but for the handling they give you. its worth it.
whose crazy now. i have both set thank you. i happen to like the es motor mounts so i got the es master kit. and once you put them in if you can do it your self you will see the drawbacks. first the stock ones are glued in and in a metal sleeve . second es are not the press in easily by hand and are in 3 to four peices. also if you have a gsr you get what is essentially the ls kit. then you have the fact that there is very little rubber in the stock ones so poly doesnt do that much like in a mustang. and if you like honda so much then why would you go against their engineering and put in a mount that basically rubs the metal bushing around inside the poly. if honda thought this would work they would have done it this way. its much cheaper than bonding. before i took them off i could feel suspension tension. after es the arms just fell without it. also many people have had them desintegrate. and when you have to regrease them its a good hour job. go at it. ad 10 more years of practical experience and quit thinking with your post count.

I replaced my sway bar, endlink, and shifter bushings with them and have no complaints so far. Great performance for little cost.
From what I hear, if you wrap the are that the bushings go over with teftlon tape, they will not squeek ever.. but I have not tried it myself.

from these mixed opinions im going to wait till i get some more mula until i buy those things... now i just gatta go install those teins of mine...

For the money, they do wonders for your suspension. On a car with high mileage, polyurethane bushings make a world of difference.
The price you pay: Decrease in ride quality, squeeks, vibration
I wouldn't recommend getting the master kit. Just get the bushings that you need.

I went to energy suspension and asked for everything that has function and leave out the fluff instead of buying the master kit. I love the eurethane bushings and havn't had any probs at all with them or decrease in ride quality. Just crawl under the car every couple months and shoot them with some LPS greasless lube. The only down side is the fun of install or cost for a shop to do it. I just bought all my suspension parts and had them install everything at once to make it a bit cheaper in the long run. Or if you really want to be hardcore get a lathe and machine your own bushing out of carbonfiber or delrin bar stock, but don't think yer gonna drive on the street with that stuff.
Ride quality in the sense of the suspension doing its job is better, but you feel every little vibration and wiggle from the chassis. If your willing to put up with some vibration, its is sooo worth it.
