Default Hytech header on, Now in need of 3'' flexpipe..

Called a buddy of mine who owns a shop down here, he has 3'' piping in stock, but doesn't know if he has a flange or even a flex for 3''.. sooo i'm asking around, i went to kteller, but they want like 215 or something for the piping alone..which is outragous..
I'm running open header now, the car sounds awesome, and its pretty obvious the dinky header was holding me back alot..Any ideas on where to get a flex pipe that will meet up correctly with the collector of my hytech??

Jegs flex pipes are junk.

Vibrant makes really nice interlocking SS flex pipe(80$), I have some 3" mild steel 6' long chunk you can have for cheap, you pay shipping. Are you intending to run this exhaust ouot the back or do a race muffler dump under the car?

I have currently a SS tsudo N1 2.5 exhaust cat-back system.
It was fine with the smaller header, but now with this bigger collector, i want to run a full 3'' piping back to my muffler, besides, i miss the jdm slant which i'll have my exhaust guy reweld on..
But i wanted to run 3'', the car needs it.

i'm NOT spending 89 bucks on a flex pipe..when i'm only paying for a 3 inch wide and 4 inch long piece of metal, its a "name sale"
I paid for a custom flexpipe on my last setup to be made specially for me...and it was only 35 bucks, i expect to pay that, if i'ma pay 89, i'll just get a whole new system.

That is not a "JEGS" , that is an SW 3" for near the same cost as a Vibrant one from King Motorsports I linked earlier at 73$ but it's just an inner braid. Here is a Jegs one:
http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS/831438/10002/-1/10263 There is a big difference and that one is still 50$+...

I just will never understand the mentality paying a few dollars less for something like that in Mild Steel with poor quality. But hey i was only posting my opinion and some other options which I considered to be better. I'd also love to see a pic of a "custom" flexpipe you got for 35$.

2.5'' in/out all the way threw. the collector on the ebay header as well is a tad bit bigger then 2.5'' so it didn't mate up, i ended up welding it together..

Nobody's downing your opinion, in fact smsp pmed me, and said he has a 3'' flex for 35 bucks so i'll be getting it from him, as far as piping goes.. I just want to run a 3'' reguardless of what it is.. for now.. when i race, or dyno i'll drop the exhaust....i like running open header, however my wife, the dogs and half of the city does not. I want to find 3'' piping but i got a guy who's going to do it for me.
