integra ls special edition
is it worth getting an integra ls special edition with 80,000 miles on it? i plan on gettin a turbo for it and i heard the ls tranny is the best for turbo b/c of the either the gear ratios or compression not sure which. should i get it even though it has 80,000 miles on it?
I would say go for it if it is in good shape. Do a compression/leak down test on it and have the person selling it give you all the maintanance records. An LS with 80,000 miles on the engine should be in fine shape if it wasn't driven by a jack ***. And yes, the LS's transmission is by far the best Integra transmission for a turbocharged setup. Slap a turbo on that puppy and you will be eeking it out on Camaro SS's if you can drive.

yea they have 5speed as well as Auto SE'z
also as far as 80k goes.... i bought my 95 SE 3.5 years ago with 80k miles ..
I rebuilt my engine internals @ 109k miles for all motor setup... and the machine
shop said my main and rod bearings (109k on them) barely looked warn .. and they would reuse them ....
that says a lot about Honda
