a/c is broken blowing white condensation thru air ducts
I just recently bought a civic and i dont know too much about a/c but it was really cold when i first purchased the car and got warmer and warmer until yesterday when what i think was condensation or white smoke thru the vents. Was the system overfilled do you think by the used car dealer? I thought when it does this there is too much pressure in the system and the condensor starts to freeze but let me know what i can do to fix this its hot out

i would say your underdash evaporator needs replacement. atleast thats what needed replacment on a friends civic.
if the a/c is blowing cold give it a couple of days and if your a/c blows hot, the leak is at the evaporator.
a/c is the only thing i let the dealer handle and test thoroughly gladly pay the high price every year for the check up on the system plus the check is warrantied for a year. i still use r12 myself so its worth every penny.

On humid days some white smoke may come out of the vents and is normal it should go away though. Also the condensor doesnt freeze thats not possible your evaporator may possibly freeze. You need to have somebody look at the system who understands Ac systems 1st thing that needs to be done is some pressure readings need to be observered. If the system is low then Dye needs to be added to detect the leak.

There are over a dozen places an AC system can leak it is unlikely that leak is the evaporator, most leaks are o-rings or holes in the condensor

^lol what an ***. Dude, I agree, just take it somewhere and have it looked at. Figuring out the problem shouldn't cost you too much. And maybe its something you can fix. If it is the evaporator, at least thats something you can fix yourself if you have a little know-how.
