The wheels have to be measured. Please remove the covers of the turbocharger and measure the wheels. The numbers you listed are only for the housings themselves. They are used on many applications.

A true Garrett will have an id tag attached to the backside of the compressor housing. You can't really see a tag from the angles of the attached images.

One thing I did notice in the second pic, is that one of the housing clamps is missing from the compressor side. It's the bracket that is attached by three bolts, there shoudl be one upper and one lower. In this picture, the lower one appears to be missing, and a washer has been use on one of the bolts instead.

The M24 designation is common to the Garrett housings. All of the T3/T04s that we have sold, have the same letters cast into them.

As far as this being a good match for your 2.2, I'd guess that this might do well. Garrett spec'd a 57trim for our 1.6, with a goal of 400hp. I'm thinking that the 50trim will spool faster than the 57trim, and your psi requirement is lower, so it might be a good trade off.

If you want an experts opinion, hit us with an email at Sales@TunerToys.com, and we'll give you a list of questions to answer about your setup. We'll have both Garrett and Precision Turbo then spec you a turbo based on those answers.

Good Luck!

Craig

I have another question about this turbo, will I need an oil restrictor if using a -3AN feed line?

BTW, I am using kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit which also increases the oil pressure because it came with some block off fittings for the oil orifices that supplied the balance shafts with oil. Think this would affect the turbo?

Thx!
