I am curious about this swap for the would be racers who don't drive manuals. I myself have a spare 06 base RSX shell and K24a2 complete 08 TSX swap. My question is, what is going to be my biggest hurdle? I know it can be done and I will do it anyways. Is there anything I should be aware of before I attempt?

are u going from an automatic k24 into an empty shell? if so, i would think it should be the same as a manual k24 into a manual shell. if thats the case, i would think it would be the same.

 

yeap auto K24a2 to an auto shell. Just want to see the little differences that could end up being a headache if not prepared. I have done many K24a2 swaps into Type R DC2 and EG chassis but none into a DC5 automatic to automatic. I just want everything to go smooth. Actually if I am the first to do this I will just create a build thred on it. If anyone is interested or has input, post.

 

I am not sure but do you have to get a custom header? I would look into it and i think its like 1200 bucks, jsut what i have heard...i would check it out

 

nope stock TSX header with Base down pipe works for me.
