Ive got it narrowed down so far to a leftover 07 candy red r6 (getting a great deal)
but ive also got to thinking about a r6s , ive always like the styling of them and i will be commuting with the bike so the extra comfort really is tempting as is the price . the r6s doesnt have the inverted front forks (which i think will not make much of a differnce on the street , could be wrong ,never had a bike with inverted forks)
other option is a 08 zx6r , not sure on reliabilty or quality , would like to here some opinions . and not my first sport bike , had 03 gsxr 600, ninja 250, and cb500 , a new gsxr would be a possibilty but my local suzuki dealer wouldnt deal (same with honda)

 

Are you purchasing new? You could buy an '05 R6. That year R6 is the same as the current R6S, except it has the inverted forks (previous R6 and current R6S bikes do not).

 

i really want a brand spanking new bike , i really want to make sure its broken in properly , plus the tattoo studio i work at is just right down the street from the dealership im getting the bike from and alot of the guys that work there come and get tattoos by us so its one reason im getting a sweet deal

well i didnt end up buying a new bike , i bought a used one , our local ad paper came out today and there was a 2001 r6 listed for 2500 , well i figured it was worth checking out it was only an hour away. so i went after work tonight , took cash just incase , and sure enough it was a hell of a deal , it had new pirelli diablo tires , yoshimura cf exhaust , some very minor scratches and one small crack in the plastic . the worst thing was the previous owner before the guy I bought it off of took a hammer to the tank he must of been a stunta . anyhow overall it was too good to pass up ran good and shifted perfect
