what did i just break
Quick setup overview:
D16Z6, Greddy turbo, AEM hyper2 rods, JE 9.0:1 pistons, Nuformz block gaurd, AEM fpr, Walbro 255lph pump.
Problem: installed custom build intercooler (31"L x 5"H x 2.5"W) turned up boost to what I approximately thought to be 9psi, gauge would only read 4-5psi (was boosting 7psi before intercooler) heading down road heard pressure release, thought charge pipe may have come off, everything in tact. Have slight noise on #1 & #4, not a rod knock kind of noise though. Only audible at idle in neutral, haven't heard under load. Oil pressure is fine, no signs of metal in oil, plugs a little white but no metal flake, no signs of oil on plugs. Fuel pressure was 42psi with vaccum. Any ideas?
