Default CAMBER KIT VS. BOLT/WASHER (SHIMMING?)

OK, I AM HAVING SOME CAMBER ISSUES, I HAVE TEIN SPRINGS. EATING UP THE INSIDE OF THE REAR TIRES. FRONTS ARE FINE, NO ISSUES. SHOULD I GET A FULL OUT CAMBER KIT, OR WOULD THE BOLT/WASHER METHOD WORK? WHO HAS USED EITHER ONE? OR BOTH?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

No need to yell. Most likely it's the toe that's eating your tires. If you haven't had a alignment recently try that first. Zero toe all around should take care of the uneven wear.

We need more information:
-When was the last time the car had an alignment? Before or after the springs?
-What were your alignment specs?

Your issue sounds like Toe, not camber. Toe will significantly wear out a tire quickly if it is out of specs. Camber wear is much slower.

FYI, OEM specs call for some toe:
Front: +/- 2 (0+/-1/16)
Rear: IN 2, +2/-1 (1/16+/-1/16)

Are you driving the car everyday? If not, wait for your rims and your new tires. The new tires alone will have a different alignment than worn tires. The different wheel sizes will vary on the tires mounted. As in, are they close to OEM in size(you would know by your speedo).

As long as you do not have any bent or broken suspension componets you should be able to get the Toe to stock specs. The camber cannot be adjusted without a camber kit. Like stated earlier though, Toe is your issue. It sounds like you haven't had an alignment in a long time. In the future make sure and read up on issues like these when lowering a car on here or team-integra.net. You will save some cash.

A simple alignment should solve the problem.

FWIW, I have never had good luck with any camber kits, on any car, ever.
