Ok this is gay its a 91 dx wit a 91 ls swap ob0 was working fine. Then the fuel pump gave so i replaced it. Now it stalls when i hit the brakes dont matter how hard i press on them. I dented the tank so replaced it still same thing. Soo i said puck it new motor a 96 ls with only 86000 miles free gotta love it. Ran great when i pulled it from the wreked teggy poped it in and damn same thing so i cleaned the fuel lines new filter everthing is new but wiring i redid the wiring on the engine but it worked fine before i changed the fuel pump. i need help bad i have no ride right now any suggestions will help thnx guys

 

peep game... get on the search button and lookup a post called fuel pump kill switch it shows you which fuel pump wire is the power .. then just take a wire and splice into your fuel pump power and connect to your closest power source with a fuse.. now your fuel pump will be hotwired and not getting power through two relays.. if this doesnt work or u cant find the post get at me and ill go look in my crx and tell you which wire to splice cause i rock mine like that.. My car would not start for a good 15 min if i ever stalled on my own and now it always starts and runs no matter what..

 

check iacv, or your idle is too low

 

Tried iacv my idle is about 1200 and hot wireing the fuel pump is asking for a fire no getto here.. Anyways the fuel pump is kicking when it dies when it dies a wait a few seconds and bam it starts

 

Bad fuel regulator?

 

i had the same problem. the hose/sock that attaches to the fuel pump fell off.

 

it dies and then starts back up possibly cause your main engine or fuel relay crap out and the kick bak in.. if this is your second motor with the same problem then its somewhere in the fuel or wiring or relays.. and running a power off your fuse box and under carpet to your fuel pump is not ghetto, it only comes on when the keys on.. your relay sends a power wire to your fuel pump(so that must be ghetto too right)..

 

the fuel prolem fixed it was a bad ecu its alive now it still stalls when i stop
