Default Goodbye #01-0864

It is a sad day today as I am no longer the owner of #01-0864. I was the proud owner of her for a little over 2 years and I throughly enjoyed every moment of it. However, the time has come to move on and start looking to the future and the funds from this sale are definitely a good start. I can only hope the new owner has a much fun with her as I did. Here's to #0864.

I'm sure. This is definitely not a good bye to the ITR world. I've enjoyed the car more than any that I have owned. I'll still frequent this forum and keep my eye out for another one for down the road.

Yeah. He seems to be a good dude. Both he and his father were super nice. I think the car is in good hands and will be well maintained. Lords knows that it will be kept cleaner that it was during the time of my ownership; I think the only time that it was ever clean was for the two sets of pictures in my for sale thread.

I was definitely different hopping into this one the way to work this morning.

Body is straight as an arrow; paint is just worn. Interior is mint. Sold it back in '03 to one of my best friends and he never built the car as he was planning. He only put 1200 miles on it since he has had it. The tags and inspection sticker expired in '04 and hasn't been moved since then until last night. Bought it back last night for the same price that I sold it to him for (plus a new battery and oil change).

No hating on the new ride. It gets me to where I need to go and runs fantastic. Plus, it holds some sentimental value for me as I have owned it previously. I'd have loved to kept the ITR but I have some other things in life that are taking priority right now over the car. The time was right for me to let the R go.
