my buddy just bought this 97 R #370 car is very clean and fun to drive. its all stock for the moment except for sustec pro coilovers. just thought id share. He is also the owner of a 98 itr #0581

















and thats my new toy in the back round

he does not have a badge for the 98 R but i sold him the car and i know the person who i bought it from. and i know he had the badge but removed it for the arm rest eliminator and he lost it

I'm actually tempted to sell my R in order to get a 97

Do you mind telling us how much did your friend pay for his? and what are the details such as mileage etc....

he bought it for $9k without front seats and one mirror was broken that's why he has my visions on for the moment. the car has about 70k and is clean title with all matching vins on all body panles and motor and tranny.

trust me we are secure i own 2 R's and this is his second R as well and he has a show stopping gsr that is due out soon. we know how to protect R's and i dont know what recaros your seeing?

as far as i know its 90% oem paint. i know the trunk and rear bumper have been sprayed. i went over the car very well and from the doors to the front of the car its all oem paint.

whats wrong with the lug nuts? and yeah 97 R's only have the number of the vehicle on it not the actual year.

Those lugs are of tampered or conical design, which are used on aftermarket rims. OEM rims use the acorn or ball shaped design. The wrong lugs won't seat correctly.
