Default I love turbo...

Especially when my IC piping blows off of the compressor housing and my arm hits the turbine housing.
Makes me want to buy some of the firesleeves found at Summit and keep in the glovebox.
Had to do a roadside fix. How many of you guys did the same thing?

Yep, after I got the 3 inch exhaust done the thing was spooling so fast it would blow the piping apart every time i got on it. I had it all welded and used JB Weld to make rings around the ends of the pipes and haven't had a problem since.

that is too funny, i have an identical burn but on my right wrist. same spot and all, but mine is from welding, and deciding that a hot manifold would be an ideal place to set my wrist... smells like hamburgers, pretty gross

Yeah way more important than those expensive *** T bolts. Guys are running tons more boost than be without T bolts so I figure I can get away with my 8-10 PSI with good ABA clamps.

I've had to make that same emergency stop once, too. After that, I doubled up on the ss worm-gear style clamps until my ss t-bolt clamps came in.
BTW, they're not that expensive... @ $3.95.
Of course, this is assuming you are buying other stuff at the same time, 'cause if not, that $7.95 "handling fee" will make it less of a bargain.

id use better clamp like turbonetics, str, aebs, all make clamps that should take care of your problems. but im using regular clamps that come with the drag kit boostin 17lbs and on the bottle and i never had that problem.
