.i see you live in California.... change your engine to a d16z6.. is not expensive..
. get one of those japanese low miles engines,.. you know is easy to get one of those in cali..
, it will cost you no more than $500 bucks..
and will run better with vtec .. at least you already have the ecu..
believe me del sol's do not deserves and engines like the one you already have...............

I got a d15 too. Think of the saved gas... I get about 42mpg in mine as opposed to ~30-34 in the vtech. its quick enough to pass cars on the highway, just doesn't go more than 90~100mph top end

Running a D15B7 on a P28 ECU isn't the smartest move in the book.
Obviously, as others have said, VTEC won't engage simply because D15's short of the JDM D15B and the D15Z1 weren't equipped with VTEC. Though running it with that ECU will kick it mega rich past 4800 or so.
Might want to think about throwing a P06 in there so it beats normally.

thats what i was saying a couple of post b4 but people weret teling me that it would run ko with that ecu but i knew it was running to rich and i think its still is were does that ecu come out of.....?
you can get a stock p06 out of any 92-95 honda civic with a d15 engine. you don't have to buy one online either. you can go to any bone yard that has hondas. they will have one a lot cheaper. people will really rip you off for ecu's online.
