My buddy has a 91' hatch that he bought off of a junkyard and all the glass has the car's vin number etched into it. the windshield, hatch, every piece of glass. it is a very odd color. it is a vanilla/cream color with a brown dash/ interior parts. i have never seen anything like it. is it canadian or something?

 

The vin # etched on the glass is for insurance purposes. When i bought my 01 prelude, i had the dealer etch the vin numbers on all the windows of my car.
