Default Confused...How do I figure out my compression ratio---Look inside.

Ok, Im trying to figure out my c/r by using the cspeed site found here .
I have a stock LS, I will be using stock head gasket, stock bore, stock LS head.
I have JE #176449 pistons which call for a 9.8:1 compression in a Gsr.
Using this unit conversion page , I am supposed to convert the dome volume to cc's. Using JE's pdf spec file for their pistons . The dome volume size is -1.7" which is -4.32 centimeters. Im not sure if I am using the correct unit conversion since the numbers im converting are'nt in cubic inches, just inches--and ending up with centimeter, not cubic centimeters.
I keep getting 9.0:1 as the compression ratio. This has to be wrong, cause when I plug in those numbers for a stock gsr it comes out to be 9.3:1. And they are supposed to be 9.8:1 for the Gsr?!?!? WTF!
Someone please help me out. What the hell am I doing wrong??

I was playing with the calculator and if you put P72 pistons in the B18B block (is it even possible?) you'd get a 9.6:1 compression ratio.

Since those JE pistons knock the compression ratio in the GSR down from 10.0 to 9.8, I'm going to guess you'll have around 9.4:1 compression in your LS block with an LS head...

I bet I'm waaay off

Well this is what I am talking about. The c-speed page says that the JE 9.8 will go down to 9.3.
Can someone tell me if I am using the correct unit conversion to find the cc's of the dome?

Not really. I get 9.42:1 using my home made CR calculator.

Just call JE and ask them for the dome/dish volume of that particular piston as well as the compression height. The rest will be easy. That info is definitely available. SRP (made by JE) posts it publically:

JE does not though. I've talked to Randy at JE a few times and he's been helpful. Once you know the dome/dish volume and the compression height, the rest is easy. You need to know the compression height so that you can calculate the piston-to-deck clearance.
