Default Gas mileage issue

So i was just wondering what the 2007 Civic SI's are rated for gas mileage. Because im driving my dads bc my car is down at the moment and going easy on it, it gets about 260 miles to the tank. Thats outrageous considering my car which is fairly modded gets about that. HELP!!!

Are you sure you are factoring for a full tank? You gas light comes on when you have about a gallon and a half in the tank, so if you calculating without that in mind, you would be fprgetting at least 30 miles per tank.

an easy way to calculate is to fill up the tank to the max, drive until the gas light is on or whatever, and then divide the miles you drove on that tank by the amount of gas that you just put in.
