Default GSR intake cam in SOHC head???

OK guys, dont flame. I am not an amatuer, I think this is nonsense, but I heard a guy, who I know for a fact to be an excellent Honda mechanic talking about this. He said that he has put a gsr intake cam into a SOHC Vtec motor. I am not fully aware of the inner workings of different Honda heads, so that is whyI ask. Is this B.s or can it be done??? I dont think it can, from common snese, but then again, I cant say for sure that it cant be done...

You can use a GSR "Grind" and they work really well, but physically the cams are different.

A B series cam will fit in a D series head about as well as it'll fit in your 13B...
