just picked this up like 2 weeks ago. my first plans are to get some rims and drop it. my only problem is i dont know what wheels to get. i was thinking the rota group n's in black with red lip. ive had a thing for them wheels for a long time but i am unsure. all i know is they will be rotas. what rim, size and color do you all think?

16's for sure. 205/45's.Wheels- black,white,bronze, whatever you like. Don't let HT build your car. It's your money.You have to drive it. If you're set on Rota's, then find the ones you like the most. Silver is a pretty good color for wheels. ALMOST any color will flow with it. I've never been a fan of red wheels myself. Good luck.

 

I dont think you should do what others think looks good....im sick and tired of seeing and hearing people doing what is "Cool" such as LOW offset and JDM. Im starting to see some people making their cars unique by doing what they want to do instead of jumping on the bandwagon.....

id never buy red rims. just saying black with a red lip. im not trying to have everyone pick for me. im just tryin to get opinions is all. the group n's was my choice. i like 15's the best but im just not to sure if that size of wheel and color combo will look its best on my car... in my eyes.

 

i have 205/50/15 and on 15x7 rims...i really dont like the way 15x6.5 looks...

I've had a thing for the black/red rims as well. Do as you please. I have a silver civic as well and have been a rim ***** the past 2-3 months going through 12 different wheels in different colors... Perhaps the most appealing look to me were my sparco ns2's that were painted red with a polished lip. Overall, I think the cleanest looking wheels for silver civics are silver or polished wheels. However, it's all up to you. I'd recommend some silver or polished rota slipstreams for a nice clean look. My $.02

 

My limit yourself to rota, konig makes a real good rim, same price rang. Check out JLB in the marketplace, I just got my konigs from em. They sell rotas too.

 

well, i may get somethin other then rotas if i really like them. but as far as price and quality and light weight rota is a pretty good way to go. i dont want anything that is heavy as hell. like the 16" mr7's i had not that long ago. i didnt keep them long. just way to heavy. ill check them out tho.

 

Im not a huge fan of the group Ns... I dont like that mugen rim all that much.

If your looking for black and red the konig heliums look nice.

Other then that you have a silver car. You can really pull any color off with silver, so Id stay away from black. Blacks just the MOST COMMON COLOR FOR RIMS OTHER THEN STOCK OR CHROME. I hate black now. Too many cars come with it off the dealership floors.

hmm, yea the konig heliums are really nice. now thats a hard one.

im thinking either the konig heliums, bronze rota curcuit 8's or the bronze curcuit 10's "konig greenlight".

i was looking at a thread on here of the best ej8's and em1's and alot of ppl with silver cars had white rims and black rims. im thinking silver and bronze would be different and look very nice also. i dunno tho... they all go with silver well and thats what makes it so hard.

get the new buddy club challenge, white or black with red lip!

 

picture the circuit or the greenlight, each spoke face polished, leave the bronze as more of a background, like the black on the britelights.

 

leave it stock and be cool.
