Shifter placement question
The new civics have the shifter placed as to (one of the reasons) shorten the distance between the steering wheel and the shifter. This is for quicker shifts and more time woth your hands on the steering wheel rather than in transition.
What about something like this 'robo-shifter'? Would this actually be an effective product or is it just rice?

There's a C's shifter kit for the ITR that places the gearshift **** pretty close to the steering, wheel.
It received good reviews from the people who drove the car with it installed.
