Default My new project: '04 GPW S2K

Just wanted to throw a picture up in the forum of my new project. Many of you probably saw my 175+ page build thread on a Civic Coupe I was building. Well, I sold that project halfway through, and picked this car up when I was on business down in Florida.

Come winter, it will be blessed with a FULL-RACE kit, etc. Will be looking for just under 500whp on stock internals. Stay tuned!

ROFL.... What?

Thread re-started. Too much crap to deal with.

Report things earlier, and I'll take points next time.

wow that was a lot of trash that got cleaned up...

nice car man

what size/offsets did you go with for the Emos?!

and did you just get GC sleeves and use them on the stock shocks? or what kind of set up are you running?

look forward to what this will turn into! can only imagine with how the coupe was

I'm running the GC kit that utilizes OEM shocks for now. I will be upgrading to their full coilover kit next spring. The wheels are +44 and +47's. I'm getting some moderate rubbing at the current height, though. I'll be doing some fender mods, and a UK alignment... hopefully that will remedy 90% of the rubbing.

Thanks for the compliments!

Big boys, like ones who have been on this site since 2001, perhaps?

And regarding points, it seems like enough points have already been doc'd from those who deserved it anyway. Thanks for the cleanup G!

Not sure, I'm going to assume that WORK doesn't produce anything cast, but I could be wrong.

Cast it is!

And no... my wife daily drives a '08 MB C300 Sport 4-matic... we still have the STi. As a matter of fact, we just put a 3076R on it and it's making over 400 ft/lbs at the wheels

Haha, it's tough to fit them all! I have a 2 car tandem garage, and then all of the others are outside in a small parking space area or in the cul de sac right in front of my place. Right now between my wife and I, we have:

1. MB C300 (Her new daily)
2. '07 Civic Si (Her old daily)
3. '04 F250 turbo-diesel (Father in laws second truck, we use for jet skis)
4. '99 Integra LS (My current daily)
5. '04 S2K, duh. (Garaged)
6. '06 WRX STi (Her weekend car, garaged)

We're on the virge of getting complaints from the home owners association. I can't stand those people!

Sell the teg and rock the new Si if you can afford it, those things are so nice inside. If not I would sell the Si for sure. How do you afford all these newer cars? I mean I have allot of cars too but not 4 that are 04+!

Even if you were both pulling 80+ a year with a mortgage and all those payments it's gotta add up!
