Yeah, I have a B16A swap in my 1993 Honda Civic DX. When I drive the car on the highway for 30 minutes or more, or 20 minutes in hot weather, my temperature gauge rises up until I turn the heat on, then drops to a normal operating temperature. I have seen plenty of people with the same swap using the stock half radiator having no cooling problem at all. I have heard this can be caused by a bad thermostat, anyone care to elaborate or help? Thanks guys.
If you think its the thermostat than change it, its like 13 bucks at honda. Possibly your water pump going out. When was the last time it was changed?
