La Nayeli just ran a 7.0@193 MPH making it the fastest 3/4 chassis in the world. This was done at the Summer Slam Team P.R. vs Team USA. Here is a picture and video of the car :

That's really flying in that little car! Congrats!
FWIW, Brent Rau has run in the 6's already at NOPI. I don't think there's actually a 3/4 chassis class, unless you're talking about Modified.

why did the other car hit the brakes??? it looked like he was on a better run...for a 7.4 sec run at only 153 or whatever mph it was id say he was definetly on a better run... if you watch the blue car had its front wheels off the ground for a little bit..

I know Brent Rau has been in the 6's , if I am not mistaken I heard this car went 6.90's in P.R.. Brent Rau is not 3/4 chassis , I just said this is the world's fastest 3/4 chassis car out there.

This has always been one of my favorite Starlets! The car looks like it can really be a handful.
You gotta have brass ***** to drive something that powerful with such a short wheelbase! Mad props!

The fastest Modified in the world id Brent Rau with a 7.08.The fastest that starlet have ever run is 7.09 in Puerto Rico and here now and I will not doubt that the could run a better time than that may be in the Pan American Nationals he will break that record.Siguel is one of the best rotary tuners and mechanics in the world. The only rotary that ever ran 6 sec is Colon Motor Sports in the Sporty Racing 3rd Gen Mazda RX-7 that went 6.97

Rau's car is a 7/8 car which its still consider a modified. I beleive all the new modified cars are coming out 7/8. Matz, Dee I'm not a chassis builder but I think the only thing that makes it modified is just the front strut tower. All these old school starlets, datsuns and 1.8 they are stock from firewall down. Thats waht its consider a 3/4 chassis.
3/4 chassis is basically a tube car from the firewall back..
Everything in front of the firewall is still factory..
Rau and other modified cars are basically full tube frame with stock strut towers...

I'm not trying to put down their accomplishments at all, but maybe they should stop handicapping themselves and build their car to end of the rules just like all the other modified cars. This car is freakin fast as hell. Maybe it would be even faster (and safer too) if they built it the same as the rest of the class they race it in. Does it actually weigh a lot more than the legal limit?
BTW Brent Rau ran in the 6's at 2005 NOPI FINALS, but they changed the rules the next year to run smaller turbo limits, and then they reset the record back to zero again. That's why the official record is only 7.08.
Congrats again on building a wicked quick machine.
