I'm about to pick up a '93 Del Sol from a friend of mine for less than a grand. Engine is strong with about 50K miles on it. The only problem I can see is the rust under it. I have it in my garage on blocks right now, and pulled the wheels since the brakes were grinding. Aparently the calipers are rusted pretty badly. I need to replace them and the rotors. What are the best options for replacing the calipers. I heard someone say I can use calipers from other types of Hondas for better performance. Any suggestions on the best type I can upgrade to? And any suggestions on removing/covering up the rust damage underneath the car?
